The Kuntres Besuras HaGeulah is a compilation of 71 excerpts of the Rebbe’s Sichos from the years 5751-52, all sharing the theme of the Rebbe’s proclamation to the Jewish people that the Geulah is coming in our generation and “Behold he (Melech HaMoshiach) comes, and has already come.” These excerpts are primarily about the greatness of this period we find ourselves in, as well as instructions for concrete action.

The Kuntres was compiled by Rabbi Shmuel Chaim Bluming, Ra”m in Yeshivas Oholei Torah of Crown Heights, and was first released in 5753.

The Kuntres summarizes and reviews – in a very broad fashion – the scope of the Rebbe’s teachings on the subject of the coming of Moshiach and all that connects to it. It also allows one to trace the development of the message of Geulah given over by the Rebbe in 770 with its different stages and innovations, from Elul 5750 until the days just before 27 Adar 5752.

The original edition had many parts of Yiddish Sichos in their original language; later editions translated these sections to Hebrew.

This Sefer is also the first official Chabad publication (by Kehos/Vaad L’hafotzas Sichos) that merited to receive the Rebbe’s approval to explicitly refer to him with the appellation “Melech HaMoshiach.” This title appears several times in the Sefer’s preface.

The Sefer was translated to English by Rabbi Herschel Greenberg in 5756 (1996). That edition can be found here.
